Protects injured finger! Holds finger in place to promote healing. Easily molds to finger. 1/4 think padding. Use to hold he entire finger in proper position after injury to promote healing and protect from feather irruption. 1 Cleanse finger and wound. Stop any bleeding by direct pressure on wound using a clean gauze pad and elevating hand until bleeding has stooped. 2. Apply small amount of antibiotic creams to any areas of broken skin. 3. If skin is broken, use small non-stick sterile gauze pad on wound. Wrap the gauze around finger 1-2 times. To secure the dressing. Wrap thin strips of adhesive tape around gauze 1-2 times. 4. Gently mold T-shaped end of splint over end of finger tip to first finger joint. Fold vent tab around finger at second joint. If finger becomes blue, cold or numb the splint is to tight and should be loosened. Optional Secure splint with thin strips of adhesive tape at base of splint. 5. If fracture or dislocation is suspected or if redness, swelling or pain persists, consult your doctor at once.
